How We Manage Quality

TurkPaper supplies paper and tissue products from Turkish mills that operate under documented quality management systems. Every mill in our supply network is audited against internationally recognised standards covering quality, environmental practice, food safety, and responsible fibre sourcing. Buyers receive full documentation with each shipment confirming product specification, batch origin, and certification status.

Certifications Held by Our Mills

Turkish paper mills supplying through TurkPaper hold the following certifications. Certification scope is confirmed at quotation stage based on product category and destination market.

FSC certification covers chain of custody for wood pulp sourced from responsibly managed forests and applies to virgin fibre tissue and kraft paper lines. ISO 9001:2015 covers quality management systems across manufacturing and administrative processes. ISO 14001:2015 covers environmental management and applies to mills operating sustainable production programs. BRCGS certification covers food safety management and applies to tissue products supplied to retail chains and food service buyers where food contact compliance is required. REACH alignment applies to products destined for the European market covering chemical safety of finished goods.

Multi-Stage Quality Control Process

Every production run supplied through TurkPaper passes through quality control at three stages before shipment.

The first stage covers incoming raw material verification — confirming that pulp grade, recycled fibre content, or kraft input materials meet the agreed specification. The second stage covers in-process checks during converting, including GSM consistency, ply adhesion, moisture content, and roll geometry. The third stage is a pre-shipment inspection covering finished product dimensions, packaging integrity, pallet configuration, and quantity verification against the purchase order. Third-party pre-shipment inspection is available on buyer request.

Technical Specifications and Batch Documentation

TurkPaper provides full technical data sheet coverage for standard product lines. Each shipment is accompanied by a certificate of conformity, mill test report, and batch production records confirming GSM, brightness, tensile strength, moisture content, and caliper measurements against agreed specification.

For jumbo roll programs, reel geometry data including diameter, width, and core specification is included in the shipment documentation. For finished consumer tissue programs, packaging compliance records and barcode verification are included. Buyers requiring specific documentation formats should specify at inquiry stage.

Food Contact and Hygiene Compliance

Tissue products supplied through TurkPaper for food service, retail, and institutional hygiene applications are produced in mills holding BRCGS certification and complying with applicable food contact material regulations in the destination market.

For EU buyers, food contact compliance follows EC 1935/2004 framework requirements. For US buyers, FDA food contact material guidelines apply where relevant. Certification scope and applicable standards are confirmed at quotation stage based on product category and intended use.

Recycled and Sustainable Fibre Programs

TurkPaper supplies tissue and paper products manufactured from 100 percent virgin pulp, recycled fibre, or custom mixed compositions depending on buyer specification and sustainability requirements. Recycled fibre programs use de-inked post-consumer recovered paper processed to the agreed brightness and purity levels.

FSC-certified recycled grades are available for buyers with chain-of-custody requirements. GRS certification covering recycled content verification is available on request for specific product lines. Sustainability documentation including carbon footprint estimates and fibre sourcing declarations can be provided for buyers with Scope 3 reporting obligations.

Buyers requiring mill certification copies, test reports, or product specification sheets prior to placing an order should include this request at inquiry stage. Standard documentation packages are prepared for EU, US, Gulf, and UK market requirements.
